Celebrate Caledonia’s newest store, Warrior Nutrition, on Saturday, October 30th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for their grand opening ceremony.

19-year-old business owner, bodybuilder, and nutrition coach Seth Merten moved from Lafayette, Indiana to La Crosse, Wisconsin three years ago when he was 16 and trained for his first bodybuilding exhibition. Merten said: “I had no idea what I was doing. I worked at that one gym and that guy, Ben Lasche, saw my work ethic. Lasche happened to be in bodybuilding for over 20 years, took me under his wing and helped me win my first show. “

Lasche founded Impact Nutrition, a nutrition club in La Cresent three years ago, and Merton worked for him. The veteran bodybuilder and business owner saw that Merton was doing such a good job that he asked him to take it over. Now Merton is founding a nutrition club alone in Caledonia.

Merten explains on the Warrior Nutrition Facebook page: “We are a healthy energy bar that offers the community healthy and energizing drinks and options! And Boba! “

The new club, which does not require membership, is located at 121 South Marshall Street, one block from the main drag in downtown Caledonia.

After Merten had received a key for the front door, he set about tearing out the walls and the false ceiling, repainting the entire room, laying new floors, cables and pipes and building the 2.40 x 20 meter bar. Residents and friends jumped in and helped the young entrepreneur.

Once the bar has been given the finishing touches and the room has been decorated with a couch, rug, coffee table, and a few bean bags, Merten predicts that customers will come for hours to relax and talk.

“The club is a place to linger and relax for all ages,” emphasized the young entrepreneur. Merten also wants to get to know people.

The Nutrition Clubs, a division of Herbalife, have been around for about 10 years. There are over 75,000 clubs around the world, three times more than Starbucks.

Chris Morris, Chief Innovation Officer and sr. Vice President, Distributor Experience, Herbalife Nutrition said, “A Nutrition Club is a place where customers are invited to enjoy good nutrition and benefit from a network of support.”

According to Nutrition Clubs: Social Support Driving Innovation – I Am Herbalife Nutrition, “Suddenly people were more interested in their weight loss; they stuck to their wellness routine for a long time and loved it. All of this had to do with a crucial element: social support. Several studies show that strong social bonds are linked to better health habits. Trying to lead a healthy, active lifestyle can be difficult because good habits are difficult to establish. However, it can make a world of difference to have a community around you that offers support, guidance, and encouragement. “

Overall, Nutrition Clubs provide a supportive network that brings people with similar wellness goals together and creates a friendly, social environment.

What’s on the menu Boba Lit Tea is a juice that tastes like tea that offers energy, clarity, focus and no crash. The club will offer new flavors every day. Like Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Candy, Cherry Pom Blast or Siesta Sunrise.

The club also offers boba teas for kids that are decaffeinated, full of flavor, and boba. Merten mentioned that Boba adds fun and flavor. “It reminds me of a gusher (candy).” Some of the boba flavors are pomegranate, kiwi, and yogurt.

Customers can enjoy Chai Latte, served hot or poured over ice.

There are also coffee options, Dejá Brew or the regular protein iced coffee Mocha & House Blend.

Try the pink drink, a popular drink. Merten said: “Just as popular are the meal replacement shakes that taste like ice cream, are low in sugar and carbohydrates and taste like your favorite dessert. Loved by all ages. ”Some of the most popular flavors include Snickerdoodle, Fat Elvis, and Turtle Cheesecake.

The other side of the business is coaching. Merton will also offer coaching sessions and set health goals. He wants to get to know his customers and help them build a healthy lifestyle.
