PRINCE GEORGE – Hot dogs, fries and grills in the garden.

For many of these, it is the season and with the health restrictions lifted, there is a high chance you will end up with a lot of food that is not considered healthy this summer.

But how much is too much?

“Canada’s food guide encourages the consumption of more plant-based protein, so it might sound good to add some peanut butter to your toast or oatmeal, or maybe toss a few nuts in your salad,” said Emilia Moulechkova, a nutritionist with Northern Health .
