Veterinarians say that atomizing oils is less likely to poison your pet when the diffuser is placed away from the animal. Concentrated oils and pills can be much more dangerous.

When your pet is exposed to toxic essential oils, they can show a number of symptoms.

The Greater Huntsville Humane Society veterinarian, Dr. Wesley Clendinen said, “Your most common symptoms will be vomiting and respiratory problems. Also, they can become neurological and very uncoordinated, unsure of where they are.”
