There are many alternatives for breakfast and there is another option which is the taco. Taco is a Mexican dish that consists of small corn or wheat tortilla with a filling. It is folded and then eaten. Taco can be made with a variety of fillings. Here we look at avocado tacos recipes for a healthy breakfast.
INGREDIENTS:
* Wheat flour, salt, pepper, two large eggs, whole grain crumbs.
* Two teaspoons of paprika, garlic powder, cumin.
* 2 avocados, yogurt, fresh garlic chopped.
* A lime juice.
* 1 packet of corn tortilla.
* Finely sliced kale and red cabbage and grated carrots.
PREPARATION.
* Put flour, pepper and salt in a mixing bowl and whisk.
* Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
* In another bowl, add breadcrumbs, garlic powder, cumin and paprika and mix properly.
* Cut avocados in two and make half-inch slices. Discard the skin.
* Preheat the oven.
* Dip each individual avocado slice into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally into the breadcrumbs to make sure each slice is coated.
* Place the coated avocado on the baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden brown.
* Turn the sides over and keep baking until it turns golden brown.
* Meanwhile, stir together the yogurt, salt, pepper, garlic and lime juice.
* Put the cut green and red cabbage and the carrots in another bowl. Add half of the above yogurt sauce, mix and have ready.
* Remove the baked, coated avocado slices, place three avocado slices on the tortilla and top up with coleslaw and toppings of your choice. And enjoy avocado tacos.
