Brighter : Participated within the 14 Worldwide Convention on Superior Applied sciences and Remedies for Diabetes

Brighter AB (publ) announced today that the company’s participation in the International Conference on Advanced Technologies and Treatments of Diabetes (ATTD) 2021, which took place as a virtual event from June 2 to 5, 2021, was successful. ATTD is a scientific conference founded in 2008 that brings together renowned international experts, clinicians and nurses to discuss key advances in diabetes treatment, technological innovations, and the latest developments in the insulin portfolio, delivery systems, pumps, glucose sensors, closed loop systems and more.

“The uncertainties caused by the pandemic have raised many questions about how to add value by attending a major event. Brighter put in place a plan early on to ensure the company could continue to provide content and insight to all visitors to our digital booth at this year’s ATTD.We are excited to be taking an active role with some of the world’s leading diabetes management companies. The exchange with the diabetes scientific community and the exchange of the latest knowledge, but also challenges in the treatment of diabetes, were very helpful for It was a privilege to have high-level speakers at the booth of Brighter who share their expertise in relation to long-unmet needs in diabetes management, but also digital tools that could potentially help the healthcare sector address these challenges, says Christer Trägerårdh, acting CEO of Brighter AB.

One of the speakers at the Brighters booth, Professor Tadej Battelino, a member of the editorial boards of several diabetes journals including Diabetes Care, Pediatric Diabetes and the Journal of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism, and co-organizer of 14 annual ATTD conference meetings – shares his overview of the Benefits of Connected Care in the Treatment of Diabetes. The second speaker, Dr. Adrian Heald, a Consultative Endocrinologist at Salford Royal Hospital, Senior Research Fellow at Manchester University and Visiting Tutor at St. Peters College, Oxford, UK, has presented challenges of clinical indolence and therapy non-compliance with the potential for digital tools to address these challenges and to support the scientific community and healthcare.
