After knee surgery in February, 42-year-old Tom Brady apparently looked as sharp as ever during this year’s offseason workouts.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians joked about Brady’s elite health and fitness.

“I can hardly get out of bed myself. … I’m not much older, ”Arians told reporters on Wednesday. “But yeah, he’s a great guy, the way he takes care of himself, trains and takes care. He’s having so much fun out there. You can make your brain feel good. “

Brady doesn’t just look good on the outside. Earlier this week, the 22-year-old NFL veteran said he was “feeling really good” despite being only four months away from having “fairly serious” surgery.

Still at the top of the line in the NFL after decades of wear and tear, Brady has become a beacon of health and longevity in the world of sports.

In his first season at Tampa Bay in 2020, the all-time great QB recorded 4,633 yards, 40 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions en route to another Super Bowl win. With 1,061 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions during the postseason run of the fifth seeded Bucs, the defending Super Bowl MVP led the team to their seventh title win.

Brady is prepared for year 22 and will attempt to repeat himself with a fully loaded roster.
