August 8th is CBD National Day, and we at GreenState don’t miss an opportunity to celebrate this killer cannabis ingredient.
The day is designed to recognize the health and wellness benefits of CBD, a non-psychoactive, anti-inflammatory chemical found in cannabis plants that has reportedly relieved pain and improved mental health in many users around the world, including professional athletes.

This year marks the fourth annual CBD day since it was officially recognized by the National Day Calendar, a company that advertises over 1,500 holidays through social media.
The National Day Calendar basically works on the idea that when you make it a thing, it becomes a thing. While National CBD Day may not be a public holiday, the National Day Calendar made it so realistic on Instagram that it creates a lot of awareness of the potential health benefits of CBD and is a great marketing opportunity for CBD companies.
CBD Day is the brainchild of cbdMD, a well-known CBD manufacturer based in North Carolina. cbdMD applied for the day that was due to launch in 2017 and their application was swiftly approved given the growing interest in CBD that was spreading across the country at the time. Now you can use the hashtag #NationalCBDDay to promote your CBD products, showcase your CBD party, or find new and creative ways to incorporate CBD into your wellness routine.
