Charlotte Dawson burst into tears when doctors told her that she was on the verge of type 2 diabetes.
The new mother, who was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during her pregnancy, opened an emotional post on Instagram yesterday (June 15).
In the clip, Charlotte explained that her mother was recently diagnosed while her famous father, Les, was also battling the disease.
What did Charlotte Dawson say?
Charlotte, 28, revealed: “I felt a bit like I was pregnant with gestational diabetes. It’s completely different from type 2 diabetes.
“I went to the doctor last week and actually received a warning.
“Some tests came back because they obviously wanted to see me because of the diabetes and I’m a bit like my father. I don’t like going to the doctors. I don’t like things like that. I was basically told that if I didn’t sort my diet I could have type 2 diabetes.

“They said that obviously they need to keep an eye on me because of my family history and everything else. I have to completely change my diet. “
She also said, “If I don’t clean up my diet, I’ll be on insulin because my blood sugar is so bad.”
The reality star later burst into tears when she talked about her mother, Tracy.

Charlotte continued, “I just don’t want anything to happen to my mother. I only have my mother, I no longer have my father.
“I know he’s there, but he’s not here. I panic with my mother when she has a bloody cough or runny nose. “
Meanwhile, fans rushed to show their support at the post.

Charlotte strikes back at trolls
Back in April, Charlotte popped a “bad troll” on Instagram after commenting on how her baby looked.
The reality star welcomed her gorgeous son Noah with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield this year.
In the Post, Charlotte defended the toddler after the troll criticized his “pointy ears” and “strange” mouth.

She raged: “If you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything.
“Such people, do you think well no, I don’t wear anything anymore.”
Charlotte is the daughter of the late comedian Les, who died in 1993 after a serious heart attack.
