TUPELO, miss. (WTVA) – An international healthy eating website has named a local, family-owned organic grocer one of the best in the country.
The popular Eat This Not That website listed the best healthy eating stores in each state. And for Mississippi, they chose Whole Family Nutrition & Market in Tupelo and Pontotoc.
Whole Family started out as a small shop attached to a gym in Pontotoc in 1991.
Co-owner Warren Barbieri had a background in the health and food industry, and his wife, Michelle, is a certified health trainer.
At the end of September, the organizers announced the winners for each state in a special publications section.
