In particular, ABC’s revenue cycle management system enabled Crunch franchisees to seamlessly manage billing and payments, as well as freezing and unblocking millions of member accounts during the pandemic. The Crunch-o-Meter enables Crunch members to see gym capacity levels in real time, while club owners have the ability to enforce occupancy limits to comply with social distancing regulations.
Despite many fitness chains facing unprecedented business challenges, Crunch and its franchisees saw significant growth over the past year, seeing membership grow by 6% and introducing 36 new clubs during the pandemic. It is currently well on its way to reaching 400 locations by the end of 2021 and surpassing 500 gyms in 2022. As the brand’s presence grows rapidly, its partners must have the ability to adapt and grow with them while maintaining the same quality of support at all levels. Therefore, scalability and flexibility were key factors in the decision to extend the partnership with ABC.
