Autumn French toast

Preparation time: 15 minutes
cooking time: 10 mins
Servings: 2 servings
ingredients:
1 medium-sized cooking apple (approx. 100g after preparation)
10g Flora 100% natural ingredients
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 large egg, beaten
60ml semi-skimmed milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 thick slices of bread
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
20g Flora ProActiv Light
Method:
1. First peel the apple and cut it into cubes.
2. Melt the Flora 100% Natural Ingredients in a pan over medium heat, add the sugar and mix to dissolve it in the flora. Put the apple in the pan and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cook for about five minutes, stirring regularly, until the fruits turn color.
3. In the meantime, prepare the mixture for the French toast. In a wide shallow bowl, mix the beaten egg, milk and vanilla extract.
4. As soon as the apple is ready, remove it from the heat and place in a bowl.
5. Add the oil to the pan over medium heat (you don’t have to wash it first, all those lovely flavors go into French toast!).
6. Place a slice of bread in the egg mixture for a few seconds, then turn it over to coat the other side. If the bread is fresh, it doesn’t take a lot of dipping (just a few seconds) while older bread takes a little longer.
7. Quickly add the coated bread to the pan. Repeat with the second slice.
8. Fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes until the bread turns brown.
9. Place on a plate and spread Flora ProActiv on the toast, then add the cooked fruits.
