It’s a great stepping stone to a healthier person, and small changes really lead to big health benefits.

“Many of us have felt anxious, concerned, and unable to remain active during the coronavirus pandemic. Introducing activities for a healthy body and mind has never been more important. ”

A Diabetes UK spokesperson said, “If you have diabetes, getting better exercise is important if you have diabetes. Making a few small changes in your daily life can give your health a real boost.

“One of the many benefits of physical activity is helping the body make better use of insulin. Help with maintaining your blood pressure as high blood pressure increases the risk of diabetes complications; and help you lose weight if you have to.

“Nevertheless, we know that many people can find it difficult to move more because they fear that it could be too strenuous or cause hypos. That is why Diabetes UK and Sport England are working together to build trust and provide support. ”
