Diabetics are more prone to severe symptoms of Covid-19. It is even said that mucormycosis, or black fungus, which is a fungal infection, is likely to affect diabetics more.

Amid the ongoing Covid situation in the country, the Department of Health and Family Welfare has listed some tips that can be used to prevent diabetes.

2. Have regular medical examinations

3. Get regular exercise

4. Increase your intake of fruits and vegetables

5. Maintain ideal body weight

6. Limit your consumption of foods and beverages that contain a lot of sugar

According to the latest data, India has registered 3.11 lakh new Covid cases in the past 24 hours. The total number of cases in the country is now 2.46 crore. 4,077 deaths in the past 24 hours have also been reported, bringing the total death toll to 2.7 lakh.
