RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Dutch multinational Nutreco has just formalized the terms and conditions to purchase Bigsal, a pet food manufacturer from Rio Grande do Norte. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The deal will become part of Trouw Nutrition’s extensive portfolio of feed supplements, which will ultimately increase the market share of the Brazilian subsidiary Nutreco in beef and dairy farming.
Including nutrient solutions for fish and pets.
The Board of Directors for Commercial Law (CADE) will analyze the acquisition.
The purchasing group has direct vertical business operations in 35 countries and marketing in a further 80 countries.
