TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – It’s time to lace up your running shoes and head to the Tampa Convention Center, where the 8 On Your Side Health & Fitness Expo began.
The 8 On Your Side Health & Fitness Expo is the official headquarters of the 2021 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic Race Weekend. Here runners can pick up their T-shirts, race packages and start numbers.
“It’s a fun, exciting event that creates memories, sets goals and lasts memories for a lifetime so we can give it to the community, and we love it,” said Susan, executive director, Gasparilla Distance Classic Association Harmeling.

The show also features the latest running shoes and clothing, along with the latest medical breakthroughs and information to help you take care of your health.
Visitors can learn the basics of the pickleballs and take a look at the on-site stalls throughout the fair.
“This is their very first show in a year, so it would be great if everyone came out to support them. It’s a great show for everyone,” said Expo Manager Kitty Lyons.
The exhibit is free and open to the public in the East Hall of the Tampa Convention Center. You can visit anytime Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
