Gov’t to construct ‘one-stop’ diabetes centre – Anthony

The Ministry of Health will build a one-stop diabetes center to give people with diabetes better control over the disease.

Health Minister Dr. Frank Anthony said yesterday that all diabetes-related drugs and equipment will be available at the center. He explained that if a person with diabetes goes to the center, they can get advice from doctors, including access to eye and foot exams to make sure there are no infections, as well as nutritionists and access to eye and foot exams to make sure there are no infections.

In addition, there will be an education area so that people can better understand the disease and avoid extreme diseases.
