The latest provider ranking of fitness apps from PYMNTS is more of a math workout, as some beefy and well-trained brands are tensing their digital shoulder muscles and feeling the burn of networked training in 2021.

In the everyday world of exercise, we all skip the leg day. In fact, we have not – at all – moved away from our station at the Provider Ranking Particle Collider & Veggie Burger Test Kitchen since last year. It has snowed. People had masks. It’s kind of a blur.

Oh right We ate all the time. Don’t scoff. Fact: Chewing alone burns up to 10 calories.

It all leads us to this ranking, which is both inspiring and ambitious at the same time, like practice almost always. Increase your heart rate and sprint with us through the latest fitness scores.

The top 5

Market positioning is so very important. Just ask the new # 1 here, Planet Fitness Workouts, and look forward to hearing reports of improvements in the fitness sector.

There is a tie in 2nd place, as My Fitness Pal climbs a place to live together for the moment with the Strava: Run, Ride, Swim app, which drops two places from its No. 1 place in the last cycle.

The Workouts by Muscle Booster app is one place higher and in 3rd place high in carbohydrates (love your logo). And while we congratulate the companies – FitCoach looks good in 4th place, prevails and wins two positions to get into the top 5 in 4th place. Have a protein shake. Our enjoyment.

Unchanged at number 5 this month is FitOn Workouts & Fitness Plans, which is keeping itself in good shape with this top chart strength that requires dedication to achieve, let alone keep it.

The top 10

Speaking of target achievement, the Nike Training Club has just made it and retracted two chart positions in one cycle to get 6th this time.

When you train, everyone wins. A perfect example at # 7 this month (and a place to make it) is the Runkeeper – GPS Running Tracker app.

The popular Under Armor app, Map My Run, ranks 8th and, like everyone else, goes its own way through the rankings.

Nothing new in 9th place, as Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter leads the second cycle in a row in a carefully measured walk. Move on.

In 10th place it is again the Workout for Women: Fitness app “for women-oriented training, fitness and more health”. Great attitude. This is how an app climbs in these rankings.

Now go to any app store you like and do a few crunches. We do repetitions for the next provider ranking of fitness apps.
