A fitness center with a focus on the Parkinson’s disease community has moved to Shops @ Rockvale.
Crush PD Fitness opened its doors in Suite 122 on Monday and is now accepting new members. Crunch PD Fitness offers classes for people with Parkinson’s disease, including rock steady boxing, neuro yoga, stretch and flexibility classes, and more. Courses are also offered to the public. The owner, Susan Ludwig, plans to use the property’s public areas to later hold outdoor yoga classes.
The company moves from the municipality of Manheim.
Crush PD Fitness resumed in-person classes on May 1 after more than a year of distance learning and teaching due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I couldn’t be more excited to get back together with our fighters,” Ludwig said in a statement on the company’s website. “Zoom was a good tool for running online courses and keeping our employees moving and motivated. But when we are together we can provide the best possible experience and results to members battling the effects of Parkinson’s. “
Crush PD Fitness isn’t the only new tenant. Puff N Stuff opened in Suite 505 next to the Qdoba Mexican restaurant. Puff N Stuff sells apparel, tobacco products, smoking accessories and a wide variety of CBD and local hemp products. And this Thursday, Crate & Barrel Outlet will open a 30,000 square foot store in the mall.
Shops @ Rockvale is located at 35 S. Willowdale Drive in East Lampeter, Lancaster County. The general opening times are Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
