Henry County Faculty Vitamin affords youngsters free meals after faculty | Schooling

Henry County School Nutrition serves free meals to children under 18 as part of the At-Risk Afterschool Meals Program. The same meals will be provided free of charge to all attendees at each location.

Meals are offered on a first come, first served basis to students enrolled in the YMCA programs at the following extracurricular locations:

• Drewry Mason Elementary School

• Mt. Olivet Elementary

Students enrolled in MHC after 3 years in middle schools will receive meals / snacks through the program, as will all students who stay for activities in middle and high schools after school.

The other primary schools may sponsor activities for a period during the school year; Any sponsored extracurricular activity may offer a meal or snack to students staying after the programs.

Meals / snacks are also available for some daycare centers in the area that offer supervised after-school activities: Cheerful Chaps, Center for Community Learning, YMCA, Rich Acres Baptist Church Youth Group, and Stanleytown Amazing Grace Child Care Center.
