KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knox County Board of Education approved plans for a $ 1,000 bonus for all Knox County’s nutritional and supervisory staff following the COVID-19 pandemic. The bonus serves both as a loyalty bonus for existing employees and as a hiring bonus for new employees.

Knox County Schools officials spoke about the importance of nutrition and supervisory staff in a newsletter Thursday.

“Providing nutritious meals and clean classrooms is an integral part of our mission, and we are looking for team members who care for young people and serve their community,” officials said.

Those interested in applying for a position at Knox County Schools can do so on their website.
