The Lake / Geauga Educational Assistance Foundation (LEAF) has announced plans for the first Virtual Fall Fitness Challenge to support students in northeast Ohio and is currently recruiting applicants and sponsors.

According to the press release, it will be a three-month online fitness challenge / event from September 1st to November 30th and will be held at the discretion of the participants. Participants must train daily and post on social media with the hashtag #VFFC, which LEAF can retweet or share on Facebook.

It can be carried out wherever the participants want – indoors or outdoors, at home or in the gym, alone, with friends and family and in any combination, according to the release.

According to the press release, the goal of the Virtual Fall Fitness Challenge is to raise at least $ 40,000 through registration and sponsorship by November 30th. This money will be used to support students and families in northeast Ohio.

LEAF offers career and college admission counseling programs that aim to connect individuals with the best careers. LEAF currently supports students and families in 20 school districts in Lake County, Goga County, Kaiyahoga County, and Portage County.

Advisors oversee high schools and reef resource centers. LEAF provides information, inspiration and motivation for students to guide the educational process across high schools.
