A burglar on a bike stole more than $ 10,000 in fitness equipment.

Police said it happened at Riversport Fitness in Oklahoma City.

While the video only caught one suspect on camera, police and workers said they are sure he could not have acted alone.

“The machine parts are extremely heavy,” said Dillon Quirk, assistant public information officer for the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Riversport Fitness was broken into on October 23 between 3 and 4 a.m.

“I know it was uninhabited when it happened,” Quirk said.

Pictures showed a slim man, hoodie and cargo shorts arriving at Riversport Fitness by bike.

He walked around and then went to work.

“He’s taking out or breaking down the windows on the east side of the store,” Quirk said.

Inside, police said the burglar did everything possible to hide his identity.

“There were (sic) cameras inside too, but they didn’t work during the incident because he was able to turn off the power at some point,” Quirk said.

Photos showed the burglar stole five fitness machines worth more than $ 10,000. Outside the police said the burglar had cleaned up.

“It is believed that he had the glass with him. Investigators didn’t find a glass at the scene, ”Quirk said.

While the camera was showing the burglar driving away, police believed that he was an accomplice, out of the camera’s line of sight.

“On the surface it looks like he had some help loading these things,” Quirk said. “With all this equipment you would not be able to go away on a bike.”
