Menzi Ngubane’s household thanks those that stood by him in his battle with diabetes

The 56-year-old died on Saturday at his home in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, of complications from a stroke.

JOHANNESBURG – Well-known actor Menzi Ngubane’s family thanked those who have supported him over the years in the fight against kidney disease and diabetes.

The 56-year-old died on Saturday at his home in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, of complications from a stroke.

In a statement, his family said Ngubane spent much of his time demystifying problems related to kidney disease and sugar diabetes.

He is known for his famous television and film career with over 30 years of experience in the industry.

His productive roles include his debut as Cijimpi in Kwakhala Nyonini. Most recently he played the role of Judas Ngwenya on Isibaya. _

His manager Naomi Mokhele said the actor has been sick for a while.

“At the end of last year, around June, he suffered a stroke and had been in and out of the hospital. At the time of his death he was at home in Mnambiti, Ladysmith. “
