The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) have announced the 2021 Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series, sponsored by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. The series offers 25 free weekly courses from June 6th to October 2nd, both virtual and in 18 city parks. The Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series offers Boston residents healthy activities including Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Barre, Dance Fit, HIIT, Family Fitness, Cardio and Core, ZUMBA, Family ZUMBA, Salsa Dancing, Fusion Fit, Strength Training, cardio dance and carnival fit. The program is tailored to the interests of residents and participants and includes a full spectrum of age-appropriate courses for families through to seniors as well as offers for newbies to fitness.
