Everyone likes potato-based delicacies – from children to senior citizens. In the monsoon season you can quickly prepare potato nuggets as a snack and combine it with red-hot tea. Potato nuggets can also be prepared in a healthy way. Here’s an easy way to make potato nuggets. Let’s dive right in.
Potato Nuggets Recipe
1. To make potato nuggets, use 1.5 cups of boiled potatoes. Peel and mash them well.
2. Add half a cup of grated cheese, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, half a cup of breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon of crushed red chilli, and salt to taste. Mix all of these things well.
3. Cover this mixture and keep it aside. Chill it for at least 30 minutes.
4. After 30 minutes, divide this mixture into 4 parts.
5. Next, spread flour on a flat surface and roll the potatoes with your hands. The rolls should have a length of approx. 350 mm.
6. Cut these rolls evenly into 15 pieces with a knife.
7. For deep-frying, heat the oil in a deep, non-stick pan and fry the potato nuggets until golden brown on all sides.
8. Remove the potato nuggets after frying on tissue paper and serve hot potato nuggets with tomato ketchup and tea.
