FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Optimum Performance Sports and Lutheran Health Network cut the ribbon for the new OPS Dupont Fitness Center on Friday. The new facility is located on the Dupont Hospital campus.
The facility has a 24-hour health club that is open to the public through memberships, an athlete training center, four basketball courts, group fitness rooms, and a healthy food restaurant called SMPL Kitchen. One of the group fitness rooms has a bicycle room for 39 bicycles with lights and music for interactive training. The opening day for the fitness center is November 1st.
Executive Director Jason Russell says this has been a project that has been in the works for four years and cannot express his enthusiasm for opening the facility.
The facility also includes the Fort Wayne Orthopedics and Optimum Performance Therapy offices. Group tours are possible. Visit the website for more information and special offers.
