Nexen Tire And Manchester Metropolis Launch Digital Health Problem


Nexen Tire America, a global leader in high performance, passenger, SUV / light truck and winter tire technology, and Manchester City have announced a new virtual fitness challenge, Nexen Road to Man City, for health and that Improve the wellbeing of fans around the world and help them stay connected with the club. The free, virtual race officially begins on April 22nd and encourages participants of all ages and fitness levels to exercise and adopt a healthier lifestyle by getting outdoors and being active for 45 days.

Participants are encouraged to walk, jog, or run to collect their steps. You can follow these steps via a Stepathlon app from your smartphone or other compatible device. All participants will run virtually around the globe and compete against other fans for the chance to win hundreds of prizes and experiences that cannot be bought. To motivate fans and get them moving, Nexen Tire aims to bring fans closer to the club through weekly challenges and competitions that take place on @NexenRoadToManCity’s social channels during the race and registration period.

The Nexen Road to Man City is the second virtual racing event the club has hosted, but the first on a global scale. The previous successful event was for fans in India with thousands of attendees. The virtual race event is supported by Stepathlon – The Race Management Platform.
