But one doctor shared an affordable hack on his TikTok that will keep your hair lush and thick for years to come.

Doctor Anthony Youn, a holistic plastic surgeon from Detroit, shared a video originally uploaded by Audrey Victoria raving about the miracle oil that makes her hair ultra smooth.
The oil she is obsessed with is rosemary oil, a common essential oil known for its multiple benefits.
Doctor Youn records the video and asks if it’s FACT or CAP?
“Does rosemary oil thicken the hair?”
According to Youn, this is actually a fact, and some studies have shown it could be as effective as Rogaine (minoxidil), a drug used to treat hair loss.
Best of all, you can take a bottle of the oil to try for yourself for less than a fiver.
In the video, the girl massages the roots of the hair with the oil and uses excess oil to go over the tips.
She lets the oil soak in overnight and then washes herself off with shampoo and conditioner – you can also use a spray bottle and apply the oil that way.
Under the video, Yuan cited a study that found that topical application of rosemary to hair was similar to Rogaine (minoxidil) for hair growth, but with less skin irritation.
Yuan warns that you need to use a carrier oil such as jojoba oil or avocado oil to mix it with the rosemary oil.
This is because essential oils like rosemary can cause skin irritation if not properly diluted.
Many users commented on the video, either rushing to buy the oil or praising the oil.
