Pfizer Inc. dismissed another appeal in a lawsuit alleging its cholesterol drug Lipitor caused plaintiffs ‘diabetes, as the Second Circuit confirmed that two dozen plaintiffs’ claims were either disqualified or late.
Barbara Gayle and 23 others sued Pfizer in April 2019 for failing to warn sufficiently about the link between the cholesterol drug and diabetes. The lawsuit was dismissed the following year.
