JAMES CITY COUNTY – Ace Fitness is rejoining the community to bring their fitness knowledge to the locals.
This time around, they’re partnering with Here for the Girls and the Billsburg Brewery to host a new fitness event called Pink Fitness.

“We wanted to do something outdoors, but also support local organizations,” said Pjerin Luli, who has been a member of Ace Fitness for two years. Together with gym owners Robert Washington and Toni Colon, Luli helped Ace Fitness plan the event.
Luli said the goal is to promote outdoor fitness and create a safe environment for those at high risk such as cancer survivors and their families to exercise together.
“The workouts will include high-intensity workouts,” Luli said, adding that different intensity levels will be provided.
On Saturday, June 5th, Ace Fitness will be performing one workout of the day in the field next to Billsburg Brewery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ace Fitness provides all the necessary equipment, including tires of various sizes. All attendees will receive a workout tank top and receive a $ 1.00 discount on all Billsburg Brewery beers. The participants also receive a competition ticket.
Tickets for Pink Fitness can be purchased here at EventBrite. There are three ticket options: With a $ 10 ticket, attendees can support the event and cheer for training attendees. Fans receive a raffle ticket and a USD 1.00 discount on a beer. The $ 20 ticket includes all of this plus the option to exercise with a workout tank top. The $ 50 ticket includes a donation on behalf of a loved one and everything included in the $ 20 package.
The proceeds will go to Here for the Girls. A small part is helping Ace Fitness raise money for a street sign.
Pink Fitness takes place on Saturday, June 5th from 10am to 1pm at Billsburg Brewery. You can find more information about Ace Fitness on the Facebook page here.
