A Planet Fitness employee claims she was fired after posting a TikTok video joking about people being allowed to go to the gym without checking in.
In the original video, user @freezerburnd is dancing while a song is playing in the background. Above the video is the text: “When a member comes by without checking in, but is too busy vibing the pf playlist.”
“The pf playlist sometimes beats,” she captioned the video, which has been viewed over 2.2 million times.
But it seems that her clip hasn’t aged too well. In a follow-up, @freezerburnd claims she was fired for this.
“I think I have to find a new job now,” she jokes.
In the comments section, @freezerburnd said that her boss in the franchise is the one who let her go. “It has nothing to do with the pf brand,” she wrote. “I appreciate the support, but please don’t bother the pf side.”
However, in the comments section, some users said they were canceling their memberships and expressed their support for @freezerburnd.
“I thought PF should be an unbiased smfh,” said one user.
“Planet Fitness has no vibes,” was a second comment.
The Daily Dot approached Planet Fitness and @freezerburnd for a comment.
