Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Avocado Slice Recipe
Avocado chocolate fondant (included)
Ingredients:
- 1 large, ripe avocado
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ⅔ Cup of almond butter / nut butter of your choice
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 200g good quality dark chocolate, broken or cut into small pieces
- ½ cup of sliced almonds or nuts of your choice, roasted, for garnish
- pink salt flakes for garnish
Method:
Line a slicing tray with baking paper, leaving a supernatant. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 30-second increments on the highest level, stirring well in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
In a food processor, beat the avocado (skin and seeds removed), maple syrup, almond butter and cocoa until smooth. Add melted chocolate and pulse until everything connects. The mixture will be thick and rich. Make sure you scrape the sides so that everything is incorporated so that there are no clumps of avocado.
Transfer the chocolate mixture to the lined disc shape and flatten the top. Sprinkle with roasted nuts and a pinch of salt. Chill in the refrigerator until they are firm enough to loosen from the mold and cut into slices. Cut into small pieces with a hot knife and serve.
Note: You can also add fresh mint to the food processor when flashing, or even a pinch of peppermint for a chocolate mint flavor.

Califia Cold Brew Donuts (Califia Cold Brew Donuts)
These espresso flavored donuts are great. Baking donuts instead of frying them gives you more control over the types of ingredients used and foregoes all of the oil. They’re more like cupcakes, but they’re delicious and bring all of the fun of the donut, minus some guilt. Many cake recipes that are vegan or GF, or even sugar-free, work really well in a donut shape.

This is so pretty and it cuts out all the cream and dairy products and replaces them with nuts. It has great texture and a vibrant taste.
Every recipe for these vegan “cheesecakes” consists essentially of soaked and chopped nuts that are held together with dates and coconut oil. Maple syrup or rice malt syrup is used for sweetening, and berries, spices and citrus fruits add flavor and color.

These are better than Reese’s and so easy for the kids to do. Equal parts coconut oil, maple syrup and unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix everything over low heat and then place in the fridge or freezer. Put a dot of pure peanut butter in the middle of each one.
Or fill them with berries or nuts.
You could even prepare the chocolate and then dip fresh pieces of fruit in it and put them in the refrigerator to set – banana and tangerine segments work really well.
