Simple and wholesome recipes utilizing almonds

BAKERSFIELD, California – This business takes almonds to the next level! For this Foodie Friday, 23ABC’s Kallyn Hobmann teamed up with Almond Girl owner Jenny Holtermann to try two simple, healthy snacks that you can make with almonds.

Keto Almond Brownie Bites
Ingredients:

  • 5 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 cup of sweetener
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup of diced almonds

Whisk butter, sweetener, eggs, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and salt in a bowl. After combining, add flour. Fill the brownie bites pan and sprinkle with almonds. Bake in the oven at 350 ° C for 14-16 minutes.

Trail mix
Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of almonds
  • 1 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup of red walnuts
  • 1 cup of cranberries
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Combine equal parts of the desired ingredients in a bowl.
