Tony Sadiku reports
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – – While much of the country is below freezing, the weather in St. Pete and the Bay Area is beautiful. The city of St. Pete makes it easy and free to get outside and live a healthier life.
The program is called Healthy St. Pete and offers everything from cooking classes to pickleball.
Fitness professionals are holding free classes at local parks this month.
Dough Hatch, Headmaster at Suncoast Martial Arts, participates in the initiative. He offers outdoor classes in Tai Chi.
However, the programs are not limited to martial arts alone. There are food and cooking classes for kids, fitness bootcamps, neighborhood walks, aqua fitness, and more.
