Stray is a beautiful film that follows a street dog named Zeytin in Istanbul, Turkey. Director Elizabeth Lo explains how she made this one of a kind film that really puts you – the viewer – into a dog’s head. And a dog that survives on the street every day and is associated with homeless children and other dogs at different times. It is fascinating.

One way to see the film is to order ticks through Safe Humane Chicago’s website. This benefits this Chicago-based nonprofit that rescues trial dogs and supports humane education. A conversation with Cynthia Bathurst, Co-Founder and CEO of Safe Humane, shows the amazing work of this group.
