Sara Davies discussed her fitness goals ahead of the new Strictly Come Dancing series.

The 37-year-old Dragon’s Den star has tried to get in better shape ahead of the competition and has high hopes as to where her health will take next.

“I ran a lot, so I tried to improve my fitness,” revealed Sara.

Realizing that she is in her late 30s and should be fitter than she is, she was advised that exercising means she “doesn’t know what is hitting her”.

Sara added that she looks forward to training and achieving peak fitness.

Although she learned to dance as a young child, the Dragon’s Den star looks forward to learning the craft as adults and much more seriously.

Sara revealed that she is interested in being “strictly-fied” and showing her less serious side and being herself as opposed to the need to be strict in Dragon’s Den.

She added, “Well, I love dancing at weddings and parties and after having a few gin and tonics I’m a great dancer and yes you will see some of my signature moves in launch week, like they were doing a little ‘Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box’ and feeding the chickens. “

When asked who was her biggest competition, Sara said her friends had warned her to “watch these Olympians”.

Sara bragged about her “drive and passion” but fears that there will be those who have “trained” to use it more.

She also noted that BBC breakfast star Dan Walker organized all the celebrities, while becoming an “relentless note-maker” herself because of her “mum brain”.

Sara wants a pro who is big and ready for early starts and late nights.

“Someone who will really drive me,” hopes Sara.

We can’t wait to see who will be selected.
