The Running Raspberries Running Club offers all cyclists and runners the challenge of raising money for diabetes.

This event is a community challenge where runners and cyclists across South Africa meet to support Downhill with diabetes.

You can either walk or ride a bike on Saturday April 10th. There are different distances for each discipline.

This is not a virtual race as you can come together in any city or town to run, run, or cycle in a group of fewer than 100 people.

This is a community run or cycle that complies with all Covid-19 regulations.

The routes are worked out by the local community managers for all of South Africa, where the Running Raspberries are already located.

When cycling: 20 km, 30 km, 50 km and 60 km. When running or walking, you can choose between 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and 21 km.

Race packages and prices: Standard is R160 (running / cycling buff, start number, finisher certificate) and exclusive R350 (running / cycling buff, start number, custom T-shirt and finisher certificate).

The main aim of this event is to collect donations for diabetes in South Africa in order to enable the association to reach diabetics in need and to provide financial support. The secondary goal of this event is to raise awareness of diabetes as a disease and to get the communities to support people with diabetes in their community.
