Hello! I’m Sandy Harrison, a Mint Hill roommate and business owner and professional portrait artist for over 30 years. Like others, I was anxious, scared and depressed when I saw my portrait business decline due to Covid. As an aromatherapist for over seven years, I knew the benefits and effects of flavors, herbs and essential oils and what they can offer for the mind and body. When I focus on what is important to me, I am determined and committed to taking care of myself while helping others along the way.
In this column, I look forward to introducing and teaching the basics of essential oils and herbs for a more naturopathic daily option for health and wellbeing.
Wellness is more than just being disease free. It is a process of change and growth towards a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle.
My goal is to provide you with alternative methods using essential oils, herbs, and botanicals that can help alleviate unwanted health problems and symptoms that you may encounter in your daily life.
