Smoothies are great choices for breakfast and afternoon pickups. They’re a great way to mix an array of nutrients, fruits, and vegetables into one neat, tasty package. And while I have a good repertoire of recipes, I’m always looking for more inspiration – especially in the form of simple formulas like the three nutritionists Drew Ramsey, MD, recently shared on his Instagram.

“I love smoothies because there are endless combinations that work so well together,” he writes in the Post. “The key to smoothies is trying all the different flavor combinations you can think of until you find the ones you love.” However, he also notes, “while smoothies are a fantastic way to pack a ton of vitamins and nutrients, they shouldn’t replace chewable foods!”
