Trying out something new not only helps to break the monotony, but also inspires fitness enthusiasts and makes them perform better. To do just that recently was nothing more than Mira Rajput Kapoor who was seen trying it out? gymnastics or body weight exercises.

In an Instagram video, the 26-year-old expressed how she recently decided to try calisthenics in a fitness session. Calisthenics exercises are carried out with different degrees of difficulty intensity and rhythm.

In the video, Mira can be seen nailing the frog hanging exercise while using cross training rings with a resistance band.

Since calisthenics uses body weight, it promotes endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination.

The exercise Mira did is known to work on the core of the body while toning the arms and thighs. The resistance of the rings also helps tone the abs. However, it is known that calisthenics doesn’t just work part of the body, but the entire body and every muscle in it.

Some of the exercises for beginners are pushups, planks, lunges, and burpees.
