THATCHER – Strive Fitness Club, the innovative concept by Heather and Mitchell Goodman, is currently being built in the heart of Thatcher, 3200 W. Main St., between the Beehive Home and the FMI Training Center. The fitness studio will start in early 2022 and is the product of more than two years of concept development, proprietary fitness program and is fully investor-funded and independent and owner-managed.

“We have reinvented the family wellness paradigm and are offering busy families in the Gila Valley a natural, healthy approach to exercise. We want to welcome all ages and fitness levels and create a community of support for truly healthy living, ”said Heather Goodman, creator of Strive’s unique brand.

Strive offers a clean, modern feel that emphasizes a naturally clean environment. The exercise room will house state of the art equipment and programs normally housed in large franchise studios that have now been redesigned for a smaller footprint. Strive is co-branded and shares space with Lively Juice Company, a new startup offering a freshly squeezed juice bar with proprietary recipes from Doctors and a Master of Nutrition to offer healthy alternatives to caffeinated pre-workouts and aid recovery. Additional amenities make the room multifunctional, family-friendly, and accessible to users of all fitness levels. Monthly memberships with expanded access and a host of amenities ensure that training is affordable and convenient. Presale discount memberships are coming soon by following the brand on Instagram @strivefitnessclub.

Drs. Kaleb Valdez and Bridger Cutler are also part of the Strive team and have studied Functional Fitness and Wellness at the graduate level to create bespoke training programs for beginners to advanced athletes. The gym also employs community trainers and fitness professionals who offer classes in a variety of disciplines. Dedicated, experienced employees ensure a safe, effective and entertaining start or return to fitness. A half-field basketball gym, yoga studio, and classroom complement the training area.

“It seems like every major brand these days has the healthy, all-natural alternative,” said Mitchell Goodman. “Strive Fitness is to gyms what Whole Foods is to grocery stores. We want a place that is fresh, clean, and family-friendly. I am happy to be able to show Thatcher what is possible. ”
