ingredients

  • 10-15 boneless chicken legs (medium)
  • 100 g yogurt (low in fat)
  • 40 g ginger and garlic paste
  • 3-5 green chillies (chopped)
  • 5 g turmeric powder
  • 10 g cumin powder
  • 5 g masala salt
  • Whole grain tawa roti or multigrain baguette (available in local stores)
  • 1 tbsp Tabasco sauce
  • 50 g iceberg lettuce
  • 2 tbsp plain mayonnaise sauce (low in fat)
  • Fresh coriander
  • salt

method

  1. Cut the chicken into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the following ingredients – yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies (chopped), turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt to prepare the marinade.
  3. Pour over the marinade and mix thoroughly so that the chicken cubes are completely coated. Cover and keep for at least 4 hours.
  4. Add a little oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken on a low heat until it is soft and tender.
  5. You can cook it in the oven or even on a charcoal grill for 35-40 minutes at 220 ° C.
  6. Once the chicken has cooled, chop the meat a little. Add the chopped iceberg lettuce.

method

  5. Meanwhile, mix melted butter and peanut butter in a bowl to a sauce consistency.
