World Pulse Day 2021: Topic and meaning:
World Pulse Day falls under the United Nations goal of “zero hunger” by 2030. The theme of this year’s World Pulse Day is “Nutrient seeds for a sustainable future”. For the unsophisticated, this topic was decided back in 2016 (the year of the legumes decided by the United Nations) with the aim of raising people’s awareness of the sustainable production and consumption of legumes in order to further reduce the global hunger rate. It stayed the same from 2019 to 2021.
