It’s only been a few weeks since we saw the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 on Amazon for buyers in the US. At $ 60, it was a bit more expensive than expected as the non-NFC version only costs around $ 35 in China. Today the Amazon listing dropped its price significantly, down to $ 49.95. That makes it a fantastic deal compared to most other budget fitness trackers.
The Mi Smart Band 6 can track heart rate and pulse oximetry, sleep tracking, 30 different training modes and 50 ATM water resistance with an OLED color screen 40% larger than the last model. It includes notification syncing with your wrist, and the Xiaomi Mi Fit app can sync data with Google Fit too. Xiaomi claims a usage time of up to 14 days on one charge. The band is only available in black on Amazon, although elsewhere it is offered with different colored silicone bands.
The lower price comes from an alternative Amazon seller who imports a large amount of Xiaomi and Huawei hardware. (The Mi Band fitness trackers are not sold in Xiaomi’s US store.) It is not clear whether this is a temporary drop in price or the new base price for the Mi Smart Band 6.
