Ascensia’s latest survey of 750+ people with type 2 diabetes in the United States found that more than half (54%) of health insurers replenish their test strip prescriptions at least once a month by purchasing additional OTC and test strips 79 % do this at least every two to three months, which suggests they are either underprescribed or underinsured.
