(ABC4) – Over 25,000 units of essential oils have been recalled because they pose a safety risk to children.
Dozens of Plant Guru Wintergreen and Birch essential oils as well as Headache Relief and Deep Muscle essential oil blends in amber glass bottles are affected by the recall.
According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, the essential oils are being recalled because they do not meet the requirements for child-resistant packaging. According to the authorities, the products run a risk of poisoning without proper packaging.

Sizes affected are 2 oz., 4 oz., 5 ml, 10 ml and 30 ml. The Headache Relief Roll-On comes in a blue 10 ml bottle.

If you have any of these products, CPSC says you should stop using it immediately and contact Plant Guru for a full refund for the roll-on products and a free replacement child-resistant cap on the bottles.

Investigators “exhaust all efforts” in search of Summer Wells
The products were sold online at PlantGuru.com, Amazon and eBay from March 2018 to February 2021.
