These products contain the substance methyl salicylate, which according to the Poisoning Protection Packaging Act (PPPA) must be in child-resistant packaging. Because these oils are not securely packaged, there is a risk of poisoning if your children ingest their contents.
Consumers should stop using these oils immediately, keep the products in a safe place out of the reach of children, and contact Plant Guru for a full refund for the roll-on products and a free replacement child-resistant cap on the bottles. All known buyers will be contacted directly.
No incidents or injuries have been reported yet, according to the CPSC.
