Fitness pro and social media influencer Hunter Hobbs spoke to Markos Papadatos from Digital Journal about his love for fitness and his three-month body transformation. He also shared his definition of success and what drives him every day.

American athletics legend Jesse Owens once said: “We all have dreams. But it takes a lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort to make dreams come true. ”Hunter Hobbs is a personality who embodies this wise quote from the late four-time Olympic gold medalist.

Hobbs lives in Oklahoma and shared his passion for fitness and his transformation. He worked in college and did athletics in high school, but worked in a typical desk job and for a while after being busy with work and other commitments (for a long-term video project that required an additional 20-30). Hours per week in addition to his full-time job) he started eating fast food and after nine months he reached 202 pounds which was the heaviest he has ever had. Realizing this was a problem, he decided to take control of the situation.

For three months he challenged himself, where he trained and ate “super clean” every day and did not drink alcohol during those three months. “I’ve hit so hard these three months. I was very consistent and documented that with a picture every day and that kicked off his fitness journey, ”he said.

The result was quite remarkable. He lost 42 pounds in the process and culminated in that three-month transformation with a final body weight of 160 pounds.

Regarding his daily motivations, he said: “Now I’m training well. Motivation is sometimes here and sometimes there. I am a normal person and struggle with motivation like everyone else. The results I have achieved and these advances have motivated me to move on to the next level. That really drives me to keep pushing it to see what I can do. I am grateful for where I am now. ”

Regarding the title of the current chapter in his life, he said, “New Beginnings”. “I’ve just got to a point where I’m figuring out what I want to do and what I want to hit hard, especially with Instagram and videos,” he said.

“Videos were my passion even before I started working out, and now I have the opportunity to combine the two,” he added.

Hobbs had great words about the fitness pros and twins Calvin Boling and Cory Boling of The Boling Twins. “I met them eight months ago and they are so great. They are down-to-earth men, like-minded and very motivated entrepreneurs, ”he said. “Calvin and Cory are the nicest, most sincere, and down-to-earth guys.”

When asked what track and field event he would do if he had the chance, Hobbs revealed the 800-meter race. “I loved the 800 meter race, but of course it was so tough because it was a combination of a sprint and a long distance,” he said.

In the swimming world, he named “Freestyle” as his favorite race and perhaps the “Butterfly” race. “I want a challenge,” he said.

Hobbs defined the word success simply as “doing what he loves and making it a success”. “Success is waking up passionately and fulfilling what you love to do, whatever it looks like. I have the feeling that I am at the beginning of this path, ”he said.
