“I feel good, the team has a good atmosphere,” he told the Ukrainian Football Association. “Everything is going according to plan, we are preparing for the last control game on the eve of the European Championship.”

Zinchenko only had a few days off before joining Ukraine, but showed that he is fit and ready to fire for his country over the next few weeks.

“I feel like I haven’t lost anything in terms of physical condition,” he added.

“Life doesn’t end in defeat. We will set new goals and try to get closer to them. Mentally, I’m fine too. We have wonderful guys on the team who revived me after this situation. “

Ukraine will play Cyprus in their final warm-up match on Sunday before heading to Amsterdam for the Netherlands.
