We’re ready again for the annual Diabetes Tasmania Tasmanian Pollie Pedal – the 16th edition of the major charity drive.

The unique event raises awareness and funds the important work of Diabetes Tasmania.

I am proud to have been part of the ride since its inception in 2006, and am pleased to announce that to date over $ 740,000 has been raised to support Tasmanians with diabetes and their families.

As someone with type 1 diabetes and as an ambassador for Diabetes Australia, I am very excited to continue to support the Pollie Pedal.

From St. Helens to Richmond, cyclists will cover more than 250 kilometers on this year’s ride and experience the breathtaking scenery and community spirit Tasmania has to offer.

The 16th annual Pollie Pedal starts on Friday February 26th and ends on Sunday February 28th, 2021.

I would like to thank everyone who continues to work for this very worthy cause. If anyone would like to learn more about this initiative, please visit https://diabetestas.org.au/pollie-pedal/
